Charlize Theron Shows Her Support For South Africans As Addresses The Current Unrest In The Country

Charlize Theron, the South Africa-based Hollywood actor spoke out about the unrest in the country through her social media accounts.

On July 16, one of the highest-paid actors all around the world went to her official Twitter account and sent her love to her fellow citizens of the country who has to face various problems such as, unemployment, poverty, and COVID-19 vaccines. On Twitter, she first wrote:

“My thoughts & love are with the people of South Africa. This is such a painful time for our nation, w/ so many unable to access safety, employment, education, food, healthcare & vaccines. But I’m heartened to see glimmers of hope as communities come together & support each other.”

Hollywood actor who expresses her love for her country at every turn continued her message by saying that the country is extraordinary, however, there are problems to be handled by the authorities in a short time.

“Our country is extraordinary in so many ways – diverse, resourceful, proud, accomplished, and so incredibly strong. May we come out of this intensely challenging time to find peace and safety.”

As for other South African-born celebrities such as Trevor Noah and Elon Musk did not break their silence on the horrific events – especially riots after Jacob Zuma’s arrest – that have taken place in the country over the past week.
