Hollywood actor Chris Evans, best known for his role as ‘Captian America‘ in Marvel universe superhero films, announced that he would voice ‘Buzz Lightyear‘ in the upcoming Pixar film ‘Lightyear.’
On December 10, when the Hollywood studios declared their upcoming film project, the news regarding the animation film was delivered by Pixar.
Meanwhile, ‘Captain America went to Instagram, posted an image of ‘Buzz Lightyear’ and expressed his satisfaction with working with Pixar. Evans added a lengthy caption and first said that teaming up with the animation studios was one of his dreams, and he has been a huge fan of Pixar films. He added:
“My team could barely contain their excitement when they told me that Pixar had a pitch for me. All they said was ‘Buzz Lightyear’. I didn’t know what that meant, since Tim Allen is Buzz Lightyear, and no one could ever touch his performance.”
He continued by saying that he wanted to know the characteristics features of ‘Buzz Lightyear’ and the unique sides of his story.
“I can say 2 things with absolute confidence: 1. I didn’t stop smiling through the ENTIRE pitch. Ear to ear. 2. Everyone can rest easy. And get very excited. Trust me when I say that they REALLY know what they’re doing over there.”
Evans, who said that he could not pick the words correctly because of his excitement, concluded his words by expressing that the upcoming film is going to be really special and “it doesn’t step on a single thing.”
The release date of the animation, which makes Evans smile every time he thinks about it, will be in theaters on June 17, 2022.
