Chris Hemsworth spoke to Poland’s Elle Man magazine and said he would go on portraying ‘Thor’ in the Marvel movies.
The 37-year-old actor concerning not thinking of retirement from the character that made him as one of the leading and highest-paid actors in the world, said:
“I am not going into any retirement period.”
The actor, appearing most recently in ‘Avengers’ movies, added in a highly hilarious way:
“Thor is way too young for that. He’s only 1,500 years old!”
During the interview, Hemsworth also mentioned the upcoming film, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder,’ directed and written by Taika Waititi:
“After reading the script, I can say that I am very excited. For sure there will be a lot of love and a lot of lightning in this production. I’m glad that after everything that happened in Avengers: Endgame, I’m still part of the Marvel Universe and we can continue the story of Thor.”
In May, he also stated that the said upcoming film has one of the best scripts he has read in years, and praised Taika for his effort and work he poured into this project.
“It’s Taika at his most extreme and at his best. If the version I read is the one we get running with, it’s going to be pretty insane.”
So, it seems that Hemsworth will not step away from the character for a long period.
