‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ star Chris Pratt is ready to gain millions more fans with his highly-expected Amazon series, ‘The Terminal List.’
On April 5, Pratt took to his verified Instagram account and released a photo from the set of the series, with his co-stars and expressed his pride to be part of it. Alongside the photo, the ‘Avengers‘ actor, who is gearing up to appear as ‘James Reece‘ in the series based on the novel of the same name by Jack Carr, penned a lengthy message that began:
“Our world balances between light and dark. And though it feels precarious, it was created that way. We are called, each of us, to be of some service- to be light. Few answer the call. And fewer yet to the degree of the Warfare Special Operator.”
The actor, who welcomed his second child a few months before, praised his co-stars, Taylor Kitsch, Constance Wu, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, and Patrick Schwarzenegger and the other members of the cast with the following words:
“It has been my great honor to work alongside the men in this photo. Many of whom are actual Navy Seals. As far as men go, it is my opinion there are none equal to the SEAL.”
Then the star, who co-starred with his brother-in-law in the series, stated at the end of the caption that he is trying his best to represent former Navy SEAL Reece in the best way possible. In his words:
“I’m trying my hardest to portray James Reece in a believable way. With enough smoke and mirrors and technical advice from the men who’ve lived it, we’ll fake it just enough to tell the incredible story.”
The series, directed by Antoine Fuqua will stream through Amazon Prime Video.
