Chris Pratt Says ‘Yes!’ To Potential Terminator Movie With Arnold Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt might do another ‘Terminator’ movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Chris Pratt recently joined an interview with TMZ and talked about the possibility of a new ‘Terminator’ film:

“Oh, man, that would be pretty great, wouldn’t it? Do you think people would lose their minds? Wow.”

When asked if he would consider doing it with Arnold Schwarzenegger, the actor said:

“Great! Okay! I’m in, sign me up!”

What Did Schwarzenegger Previously Say About The Movie?

The main problem with getting Pratt and Schwarzenegger in a ‘Terminator’ movie is that the franchise might head in a different direction if they make another one. Schwarzenegger stated he’s done starring in ‘Terminator’ films. In a chat with Hollywood Reporter, he took responsibility for Dark Fate’s box office disappointment in 2019:

“The franchise is not done. I’m done. I got the message loud and clear that the world wants to move on with a different theme when it comes to ‘The Terminator.’ Someone has to come up with a great idea. ‘The Terminator’ was largely responsible for my success, so I always would look at it very fondly. The first three movies were great. Number four [‘Salvation’] I was not in because I was governor. Then five [‘Genisys’] and six [‘Dark Fate’] didn’t close the deal as far as I’m concerned. We knew that ahead of time because they were just not well written.”

James Cameron Wants To Make A New Film

The franchise’s future is uncertain, but James Cameron reportedly aims to make another movie. There’s no news yet on the actors or the story for this project. Linda Hamilton also said she was done with the franchise:

“I’m done. I’m done. I have nothing more to say. The story’s been told, and it’s been done to death. Why anybody would relaunch it is a mystery to me. But I know our Hollywood world is built on relaunches right now.”

‘The Terminator’ franchise began in 1984 with a hit film by Cameron about a cyborg sent to kill Sarah Connor. The success led to an even bigger sequel in the ’90s, but later sequels and reboots failed to succeed. After the failure of 2019’s ‘Terminator: Dark Fate,’ the series went dormant.
