Netflix divided the final season of ‘Cobra Kai’ into three chapters with five episodes each. A trailer for the first part recently came out.
Senseis and students will get ready for the world karate championship, Sekai Taikai, after their elimination from the Valley in the new episodes.
Part One will arrive on July 18. The second part will follow on November 28, and the third in 2025. This will be Netflix’s first three-part release.
About ‘The Karate Kid’ Spinoff
‘Cobra Kai’ picks up decades after Johnny Lawrence’s (William Zabka) loss to Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) at the 1984 All-Valley Karate Tournament. Johnny decides to revive the Cobra Kai dojo to save himself from the ‘rock-bottom.’
The cast features Martin Kove, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, and Oona O’Brien, along with Macchio and Zabka.
Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg serve as the showrunners.
Another Project For The Franchise
Though ‘Cobra Kai’ finale is close, ‘The Karate Kid’ franchise is not over. Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan are back for another film with Ben Wang later this year. Joshua Jackson is in the cast for an undisclosed role.
Jonathan Entwistle is set to direct the story following a Chinese teenager getting mentorship from Chan and Macchio on the East Coast.
