Conor McGregor Admits He Showed ‘Too Much Ass’ In ‘Road House’ Remake

The MMA fighter is taking a leap into acting with a role in the remake of ‘Road House.’

Conor McGregor’s part in the upcoming remake includes nude scenes that, he says, were ‘too much.’ In an interview with MMA Fighting, McGregor shared his thoughts on the revealing scenes by joking:

“It was a little too much ass. Just a little too much. The last shot was not necessary. Could have just been the back. The back was solid. I’m just here to perform.”

Influenced By His Inner-Arnold Schwarzenegger

For his film debut, the fighter found inspiration from an iconic figure in cinema, Arnold Schwarzenegger, particularly his role in ‘The Terminator.’ He told Backstage:

“Arnold Schwarzenegger, who’s a good friend of mine, his lady Heather is my physical therapist, [she] has helped me throughout my career, helped me from my world title from 2013 on, I became real close with Arnold. Arnold’s first debut into the movie game was very similar.”

The actor explained:

“Boom, lands down, solid as a rock [in ‘The Terminator’], if Arnie done it, and f**king look at his career, I said maybe I’m onto something. I just rocked with it, and I channeled the inner Arnie, the inner Terminator there and just rocked on.”

What We Know About The New Remake

The director steering the ‘Road House’ remake is Doug Liman, known for his work on several high-profile films 2005’s ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith,’ 2014’s ‘Edge Of Tomorrow.’

The upcoming film’s storyline reads:

“In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.”

The cast features a mix of established actors and emerging talent, with Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniele Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, and Conor McGregor among those bringing this story to life.
