Well-known reality TV personality, dance instructor and choreographer, Abby Lee Miller, who recently faced racism accusations, went to her verified Instagram account with a shot of her mother Maryen Lorrain, a dance teacher, and dance studio owner, in honor of the 7th anniversary of her death.
Alongside the photo, the ‘Dance Moms‘ star paid homage to her mother, who passed away due to colon cancer at the age of 86 in 2014, with the following words:
“She did so many lovely wonderful things for so many ppl. She taught thousands of children to love to dance! Miss Maryen was the most creative person I will ever know. My heart aches in her absence ~ she would be so shocked at the ppl who she thought were our friends and eternally grateful to those who truly are.”
Then the media personality continued her message by saying that she is glad her parents did not have to witness “what she has been through” by referring to cancer she had, that made her unable to walk. In her own words:
“I miss both of my parents every day, yet I’m glad they were spared seeing what I’ve been through… the lymphoma, the surgeries, the paraplegia, the pain their only child suffered. I love you mom!”
Miller, who developed Lymphoma in April 2018, concluded her words by urging her fans and followers to show their parents love at every chance they get.
