Abby Lee Miller, best known for her appearance on the well-known reality TV series ‘Dance Mom‘ for almost 8 seasons, went to her verified Instagram account with a TBT shot taken more than 50 years ago in Miami, Florida, and showed off that she began dancing at a really young age.
Miller, who mourned her mother’s death a few days ago with an Instagram post, released a black and white photo in which she is seen at 2, stretching her leg alongside her childhood friend. Stating that she learned how to educate her body at the age of two, the dancer clarified the photo with the following note:
“I know I know! I was about 2 1/2 years old here in Miami, Florida visiting friends. I went to Dancing school that fall. I LEARNED to straighten my back leg, point my foot & turn out my supporting leg!!! Never to do it wrong again!”
Then Miller said that her friend became an FBI agent over the years, and he used to get her and her other friends in the clubs in South Beach; in her words:
“When they check your ID whoa those 3 letters certainly get you the red carpet treatment!“
As Miller’s fans already know, the dancer started studying dance at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio where her mother worked as a choreographer. In 1980, continued her career in her mother’s dance competition teams. 15 years after, she took over Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio and changed its name to Reign Dance Production.
