Danny DeVito Opens Doors To Return As Penguin For Batman

He’s hoping to team up with Michael Keaton and Arnold Schwarzenegger for a new Batman movie.

Danny DeVito says he’s totally up for playing the Penguin, and he might not be the only one thinking about a comeback.

DeVito played the Penguin in 1992’s ‘Batman Returns.’ This was almost 32 years ago, and now he told People that he’s ready for a return. On one condition, though:

“I don’t know. I don’t think it’s a bad idea because you have Keaton, Schwarzenegger, and DeVito. We could do those same parts. Yeah, why not? Go tell Pam Abdi to do that, and Mike DeLuca.”

He previously said ‘Batman Returns” Tim Burton should be directing this new movie as well.

It Seems It’s All Up To Burton

DeVito and Schwarzenegger are best buddies in real life. They both starred in a funny Super Bowl ad and even teased Michael Keaton at the Oscars about their past. Michael also hinted he remains open for a reunion.

Burton is pretty busy with other projects, and he hasn’t said if he’d direct another Batman movie.

DeVito and Schwarzenegger had a great time at this year’s Oscars. You can learn what happened that night here.
