‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Puts Matt Murdock Against Muse

The villain will make his live-action debut in the upcoming reboot.

Marvel Studios announced at the recent New York Comic-Con that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will see release on March 4, 2025. Acording to producer Sana Amanatlong, along with the return of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, the show will introduce Muse as Matt Murdock’s new enemy (per ComicBook).

Muse’s appearance was already hinted at in earlier promotional materials. A D23 footage showed him causing chaos in New York City, and his name appeared in a time portal alongside the reveal of Daredevil’s new costume and other details at the event.

The villain’s creator, Charles Soule, confirmed Muse’s live-action debut after the Expo, tweeting, “So, as revealed at D23 yesterday Muse is in ‘Daredevil: Born Again!’ [Ron Garney] and I created this serial killer/ misunderstood artist in 2016 for our Daredevil run. From what I’ve seen, they stuck to the brief; very glad they nailed Ron’s amazing design! Incredibly cool.”

It remains unclear who will play Muse in the series, but several actors from the original Netflix show are returning opposite D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox.

The cast includes Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal as well as new cast members Kamar de los Reyes, Wilson Bethel, Margarita Levieva, Zabryna Guevara, and Arty Froushan.
