Marvel Studios first hired Sandrine Holt to play Vanessa Fisk in ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ Ayelet Zurer herself publicly revealed in 2023 she was ‘sad to not take part’ in the upcoming show. But a new photo from the set confirmed her comeback.
Daniel Richtman recently posted the set photo on X. The image showed Zurer reunited with Vincent D’Onofrio. You can see it below:

Fan Reactions To The New Plans For The Show
Marvel originally didn’t plan for ‘Born Again’ to continue directly from the Netflix series. But the studio executives were unhappy with that direction, so they brought in new writers to retool the show.
Now, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ serves as a fourth season to the original series. The decision is well-received by the audience. One fan wrote under Richtman’s post:
“This retool sounds like the best thing ever. It would’ve been sh*t if they stuck with the original cast/story.”
Another commented:
“I wasn’t satisfied about recasting her… Glad she came back.”
Vanessa Fisk Is Not The Only One Coming Back
The news of Zurer’s return followed announcements that Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson would reprise their roles as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson. Leaked photos from February 2024 showed the original trio together again.
Charlie Cox talked about his co-stars’ comeback at AwesomeCon in early March:
“Aw it’s so cool, man. So cool. Yeah, it was pretty heartbreaking when they weren’t around initially. When we came back to filming and they had made some changes, which you guys obviously probably read about and stuff, you know, it was clear that Foggy and Karen are kind of the heartbeat of our show. They always were.”
