‘Snowpiercer’ first launched in 2020 on TNT, based on the 2013 film and 1982’s original French graphic novel. The series followed the passengers of a constantly moving train trying to survive in a frozen Earth for four seasons.
“All of the twists and turns in Season 4 were really exciting to me,” lead actor Daveed Diggs shared about the TV series’ final run (per Entertainment Weekly). “I couldn’t have predicted where it ended up.”
Diggs also discussed saying goodbye to the show and its cast, which included Jennifer Connelly, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, and more. “Those last days were nice, everybody was there,” he recalled.
Not everyone survived the dystopian story in the end, though the actor noted that the production team did a good job “getting folks together and having it really feel like a conclusion.”
The show aired its first three seasons on TNT. After the network scrapped its fourth season plans, AMC stepped in to ensure the series would return to wrap everything up.
Graeme Manson and Paul Zbyszewski served as showrunners. They also executive produced with Scott Derrickson, Park Chan-wook, Aubrey Nealon, and Christoph Schrewe.
