‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Will Have A NSFW Popcorn Bucket, And It’s Intentional

Marvel Studios is introducing a playful and intentionally naughty popcorn bucket.

Kevin Feige announced at CinemaCon that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’s popcorn bucket is meant to be bold and a bit naughty, on purpose!

According to Comicbook.com, Feige said ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will feature an NSFW popcorn bucket. Deadpool seems like the perfect fit for such a playful idea.

Popcorn buckets with fun designs are becoming more popular with every big movie release. The one from ‘Dune: Part Two’ ended up being the joke of many funny internet posts and even a sketch on Saturday Night Live. Maybe this wasn’t intentional, but Marvel Studios is jumping in with both feet with this special popcorn bucket for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’

This Movie Was One of Reynolds’ Dreams

Reynolds shared in 2022 that he always wanted to make a movie with both Deadpool and Wolverine. When Disney bought Fox, he saw a chance and talked to Feige about it. It took some time, but everything fell into place when Jackman said he’d like to return as Wolverine:

“My first meeting with Kevin Feige when Disney bought Fox years ago was about doing a movie with the two of us, a Deadpool Wolverine movie. And that was not possible at the time. And then Hugh just happened to call at that perfect moment and express that he’d be interested in coming back and doing this one more time.”

The upcoming Deadpool movie also features Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapičić, with Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen in roles that are still secret.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is set to hit theaters on July 26th.
