‘Deadpool & Wolverine’s Channing Tatum Is Afraid Of His Daughter Finding Out His ‘Magic Mike’ Dance

Channing Tatum believes his daughter will be ‘shocked’ when she watches his ‘Magic Mike’ dance moves.

Channing Tatum recently appeared as a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers and shared his fear of his daughter learning about his ‘Magic Mike’ dance.

“I’m so grateful that she doesn’t know how I dance,” the actor told Meyers. “It’s going to be horrifying when [she] does.”

Tatum used to be a stripper. His story inspired the 2012 film ‘Magic Mike’ and its sequels, ‘Magic Mike XXL’ and ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance.’ The actor also said he uses simpler dance moves around his daughter, like swinging his arms instead of showing off his abs. He did this while taking her to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Los Angeles.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly last year, Tatum revealed that he would eventually talk to his daughter about his past. He stated, “When she’s old enough to watch [the movies], we’ll have that conversation. There’s no version of me not having the conversation of ‘Dad didn’t just do them in movies, I was an actual stripper,’ so I’m not gonna lie to her.”

Tatum mentioned last year that he had no intention of returning to his Magic Mike role after ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance.’ “I am done,” the actor noted “We did it all. We chewed all the meat off the bone on that one. There’s nothing left to do.”

In May, Tatum posted photos on Instagram from a Renaissance Faire with his daughter, Everly. He wore a cape and held a sword while posing with her. Everly stood with her arms at her sides and looked at the camera. Tatum also shared solo photos of Everly.

“We love ourselves a renaissance fair. She said she wanted her character to be pirate assassin. I said, say less… not sure what I was other than a ghostly figure,” Tatum wrote in the caption. “Also dunked the clown in the water twice. They just talk so much s—! I was super proud. hehe Still got some left in the arm I guess. Thanks, Ren fair!!”

Tatum’s latest movie, ‘Blink Twice,’ hit theaters on this Friday.
