‘Younger’ actor Debi Mazar delivered a piece of great news for the fans who are hungry for her new gigs!
On June 8, Mazar, who gained international fame for portraying ‘Sandy’ in the fan-favorite movie ‘Goodfellas,’ took to her verified Instagram account so as to confirm the news published by DEADLINE. The actor first uploaded a screenshot of the report titled “Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key Among 6 Cast In Mike Myers’ Netflix Comedy Series,” and then added a message that reads:
“Jumping into a new gig! So excited to star opposite the brilliant Mike Myers in The Pentaverate for Netflix!”
Then the star, whose upcoming role in the film to direct by Tim Kirkby has yet announced, described her co-stars as “amazing comedic cast!”
Actually, she is quite right; according to the news obtained by DEADLINE, Mazar will play opposite Mike Myers, Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders, and Lydia West.
What’s more, the former ‘Saturday Night Live’ performer will portray 7 different characters in Netflix’s new, six-episode series. The well-known comedian also served as a producer and creator for the series which follows “a secret society of five men who have been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347.”
The release date of the series has yet been announced.
