‘Dexter: Original Sin’ Drops New Teaser: Premiere Date Revealed

The prequel will focus on Dexter’s early years as he learns to control his dark urges.

A new teaser for ‘Dexter: Original Sin’ has just been released.

The show will stream on Paramount+ and Showtime. This time, we will be exploring Dexter’s early years.

Patrick Gibson stars as a young Dexter Morgan in this prequel. The series is set in 1991 Miami, and it follows Dexter as he transitions from a student to a killer. Under the guidance of his father Harry (Christian Slater), Dexter adopts a Code that helps him eliminate people he believes deserve to die.

The series will have 10 episodes and is run by Clyde Phillips, who also worked on the original ‘Dexter’ series. The show’s creative team includes Michael C. Hall, who will also provide voiceover narration like how it was carried out in ‘How I Met Your Mother.’

The cast also features Patrick Dempsey, Molly Brown, James Martinez, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu, and Reno Wilson. There’s also a special guest appearance by Sarah Michelle Gellar.

‘Dexter: Original Sin’ will be followed by another project titled ‘Dexter: Resurrection.’ This show will take place after the events of ‘Dexter: New Blood’ and will once again star Michael C. Hall. There are also rumors about new episodes of ‘New Blood’ focusing on Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan.

‘Dexter: Original Sin’ will debut on December 13, 2024.
