One of the most famous actresses of all time, Diane Keaton, who received countless awards including Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award, and the AFI Life Achievement Award, sent back-up for Ellen DeGeneres.
The ‘Annie Hall’ star uploaded a photo of two on ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and added a supportive message in an all-capital letter. She wrote:
“ALWAYS ENJOYED MY VISITS TO THE ELLEN SHOW.”
As might be remembered, the management of the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ had been accused of racism, bullying, and rampant sexual misconduct by many former workers. After that, many celebrities such as Katy Perry and Kevin Hart took to social media and defended Ellen against all the accusations. The latest celebrity Keaton continued:
“I’VE SEEN HOW THE AUDIENCE EXUDES HAPPINESS AND GRATITUDE. SHE GIVES BACK TO SO MANY INCLUDING ME.”
However, following the post, she got criticized by many of her followers; they stated that Keaton is speaking from a guest standpoint.
Besides, she had also defended director Woody Allen amid sexual assault allegations before.
