Netflix announced that Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Matthew Perry, and Tomer Sisley joined the cast of Adam McKay’s comedy ‘Don’t Look Up,’ alongside Jennifer Lawrence who has long been attached to the project.
The official Instagram account for Netflix Film, posted a collage of stars’ photos, and added a caption that reads:

Kid Cudi, whose role has yet announced, expressed her excitement about the movie, written, co-produced, and directed by Adam McKay, through his verified Instagram account, sharing a screenshot of the news concerning the cast:
“Excited isn’t even the word. To be a part of this epic cast is unreal. And my first movie w my brother Timmy. God is good. 🙏🏾❤️”
According to DEADLINE, the highly expected film will focus on a pair of astronomers embarking on a giant media tour to warn people of an asteroid is heading toward earth. What’s more, Lawrence will appear as one of these astronomers.
Besides, ‘Don’t Look Up’ was scheduled to begin production in April, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the filming delayed.
The upcoming American comedy film, with a star-studded ensemble cast, will be released in 2021, by Netflix.
