Well-known actor and singer, Lucy Hale updated her Instagram feed with a heartbreaking tribute devoted to her late friend, actor Drew Osborne, who passed away on January 4.
‘A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song’ star released a series of photo of Osborne, in some of which the two are seen together, and revealed that she lost one of her first friends in Los Angeles who she grew up with. Alongside the photos, Hale wrote the following message:
“I will always remember you this way, Drew. Yesterday we got the devastating news that we lost an undeniably special soul. Drew & I had been buds since we were teens.”
Stating she shared some of her best and funniest memories in her life with Osbourne, who is also an actor and producer, Hale honored him by saying that he “was mind numbingly funny and had the most incredible spirit.” The ‘Dude’ star continued her tribute as follows:
“The kind of humor that brought you to your knees. We took trips, trekked around with @annebreiter , cried, laughed until we cried, brunched, listened to songs on repeat…He was kind, compassionate, so smart, SO FUNNY and it is an unimaginable loss for all that knew him.”
Then the actor, recently appeared in ‘Fantasy Island‘ described Osbourne as an unique person who has a sensitive heart, and added that she could communicate with him without saying a word. She concluded her message as follows:
“He ALWAYS let the people he loved know how special they were. Even when he couldn’t see how magnificent he was, he made others feel seen and heard. There’s so much you didn’t get to see and do in this lifetime but I hope you know you will live on through us. I will miss you forever and I’ll see you on the other side sweet one ♥️”
Following the post devoted to Osbourne, who best known for his roles in ‘General Hospital,’ ‘Criminal Minds,’ ‘Castle,’ and ‘Cold Case,’ a great number of industry friends of Hale flooded the comment section. Here are some of them:
