Following heralding that filming for ‘Black Adam’ is just 3 weeks away, Dwayne Johnson fired up his social media accounts to announce another superb news regarding the film.
On March 24, alongside DC Comics’ official announcement, the former wrestler took to his verified Instagram account to tell the world that Pierce Brosnan is joining the cast of the superhero film as ‘Dr.Fate.’ “The Rock” delivered the exciting news with the following message through caption section:
“Such a pleasure to announce the final member of our #JusticeSociety, the bada*s statesman, Mr @PierceBrosnanOfficial as the iconic and all-knowing DR. FATE.”
Johnson, who is gearing up to appear as the titular character in the film, starring also Sarah Shahi, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Marwan Kenzari, and Quintessa Swindell, continued his message by expressing his satisfaction regarding co-starring with Pierce Brosnan:
“I’m grateful to have such a talented, diverse and hungry cast. The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change…”
In his message, The Rock also reminded his fans and followers that the production kicks off in 3 weeks.
Meanwhile, Brosnan also took to his verified Instagram account to celebrate the news. In his highly short caption, the living legend addressed Johnson and wrote:
“Aloha @therock Looking forward to working with you and playing the role of Dr. Fate in the company of all. Let’s, play ball.”
Even though the new members of the cast have been announced, the storyline and release date has not been revealed yet.
