Dwayne Johnson had a break from promoting his forthcoming DC Films collaboration, ‘Black Adam‘ for a second and took to his verified Instagram account with a couple of shots from the set of highly-expected Netflix Original film ‘Red Notice.’
On June 18, Johnson, who is gearing up to appear in the upcoming film ‘Jungle Cruise’ as a lead, shared a two-photo-gallery showing his character in the said Netflix film; alongside the photo, one of the highest-paid actors of Hollywood clarified why the shooting took that much time and told the world that, the release date of ‘Red Notice’ would be announced very soon.
After releasing that photos captured on “two final very productive and focused days back on set,” Johnson wrote:
“Red Notice is the largest investment @Netflix has made thus far in a film and our relentless hard work is to ensure we make good on that investment for our Netflix partners.”
Stating that the entire cast and crew are working so hard to deliver “an awesome movie” for global audience, The Rock added regarding the release date:
“We have a big release date announcement coming up very soon…“
What’s more, Johnson, summarized the story of the film starring Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds alongside him, with these words:
“The world’s most wanted art thief. The FBI tracker. The greatest conman the world’s never seen.”
The film is expected to premiere sometime in the last months of 2021.
