Dwayne Johnson is currently working for NBC Series ‘Young Rock‘ and he posted three posters of the series on Instagram that introduce the three stages in Johnson’s lifetime while penning down special notes underneath the posts.
Dwayne Johnson is loved and followed by many people with his character, stance and acting and he is one of the names who have spent the pandemic period most intensely.
In November, Johnson completed the shooting of the movie ‘Red Notice‘ with Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, and immediately went to another set and started preparing for his new project.
Dwayne Johnson’s new TV series, ‘Young Rock,’ is also a special project because Johnson is producing it and it’s about his own life. He wanted to create an authentic show about his life and wanted to get the story right. It’s basically a comedy series about his wild and often unbelievable childhood and crazy teen years.
On Tuesday, Johnson started to share more detailed posts about the series and explained the story behind each poster he shared on Instagram. In the first one, it was the 10-year-old ‘Dewey’ with ‘a little bucked tooth’ and Johnson continued as follows:
“A little bucked tooth, afro’d 10 year old “Dewey” played by the lovable @AdrianGroulx. Taking Hawaii by storm and trying to sneak a nip of tequila at the dinner table whenever I could 😂🥃🤦🏽♂️ This is where my wild life all began”
In the other posters, it was Johnson’s 15 and 18 years old selves which he described as follows:
“Swipe left to see the world’s first 15yr old who looks 48 and was constantly mistaken as a high school undercover cop. True story,” he wrote for his high school years.
“Swipe left to the 18yr old University of MIAMI freshman who played with intense ‘upper body violence’ and had the honor of winning the National Championship with players who would go on to become the greatest of all time in college and the @NFL,” he wrote for his post puberty years.
Johnson and his crew are working on every character in the series in detail because the characters will be names that exist from the actor’s real life, and they should take extra care. It premiers February 16th on NBC.
