One of the world’s highest-grossing actors, Dwayne Johnson is so proud of the sitcom focusing on his personal experience ‘Young Rock.’
On March 2, The Rock took to his verified social media account to express that he is grateful for the show; the former wrestler posted the official trailer for the series’ upcoming episode, and made a big claim regarding ‘Young Rock.’
Johnson stated that the series, starring Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Stacey Leilua, Joseph Lee Anderson, Ana Tuisila, and Randall Park alongside him, is the biggest family-com in NBC. In his own words:
“Join us TONIGHT for @nbcyoungrock 💪🏾🌺 @NBC’s biggest family comedy launch in years.”
Then the ‘Jumanji‘ actor thanked the audiences for letting them in their homes, and wished them to enjoy the series.
Numerous Instagram users could not help commenting on Johnson’s post which has been viewed more than 1.5M times just in 10 hours.
“Proud of you lil bro @adriangroulx Can’t wait!! 💪🏽💯” wrote, actor Bradley Constant who is starring as 15-year-old Johnson in the series.
Actually, Johnson is not mistaken as saying that the sitcom is one of the biggest family – comedies of the season; the series held an approval rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and was garnered positive reviews from critics who praised its direction and the performances by the cast.
