Dwayne Johnson is assertive that his upcoming film ‘Red Notice‘ will be the biggest original movie on Netflix!
On July 9, the well-known star, who is gearing up to appear in the DC Universe film ‘Black Adam‘ as the anti-hero, went to his verified Instagram account so as to reveal the release date of ‘Red Notice.’ Johnson, who had a break from delivering news from the set of the DC film for a second, released a photo of himself with his co-stars Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.
Alongside the photo, Johnson, who is portraying an Interpol agent named ‘Rusty,’ stated:
“I’m officially serving you your notice! Ladies & gents Netflix’s biggest movie ever Red Notice will premiere in your living rooms around the globe on November 12th.”
The actor added that the film is focused on the story between the “FBI’s top profiler,” the “world’s most wanted art thief” and “the greatest conman the world has never seen.”
In his message, The Rock thanked his partners at Netflix for the trust and vision to commit to “their biggest investment ever,” and praised creator, writer & director Rawson Marshall Thurber. Of course, he did not skip acclaiming his “insanely talented (and highly unattractive)” co-stars, Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. He continued:
“And most importantly, thank you to the 205 million+ Netflix subscribers who are already making Red Notice the most highly anticipated movie on the platform in 2021! This is my career first streaming film and I wanted to make it big and special for all the fans worldwide.”
Produced by Beau Flynn, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Rawson Marshall Thurber, Hiram Garcia, the film will be exclusively on Netflix.
