Lily Collins, who recently announced that she got back to ‘Emily in Paris‘ set for the second season, updated her Instagram feed with a highly meaningful post; on May 5, the actor, who appeared in David Fincher’s ‘Mank‘ in 2020, released a photo of herself, in tracksuit designed by Kobe Bryant‘s wife Vanessa Bryant in honor of her late daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant.
As known, a week ago, Vanessa Bryant announced that she was launching a sportswear line, Mambacita, in order to support young women in sports while honoring Gigi’s memory. As known, Gigi, who was a basketball player, passed away in the 2020 helicopter crash alongside her NBA superstar father Kobe Bryant.
Collins did not leave Bryant’s efforts unanswered and became a part of the movement; alongside the photo, in which she is seen wearing the specially designed tracksuit, wrote the following message as a caption:
“This one’s for Gigi… who always led with kindness and the Mambacita mentality. Forever inspired by the love and courage that has come from the Bryant family.”
The 32-year-old Hollywood Film Awards– winning actor, who has been supporting various organizations and movement, concluded her words as follows:
“Thank you @vanessabryant for sending me this special collaboration. I’m honored to be part of such a beautiful cause — as you encourage underserved athletes and young girls to.”
As soon as Collins’ released the post, her fiance, well-known director Charlie McDowell jumped into the comment section and wrote that both Vanessa and her elder daughter Natalia are greatest.
As fans might remember, a couple of days before, another Hollywood star Kate Hudson showed her support to Vanessa by releasing shots of herself in Mambacita branded clothes.
