Young artist Emma Kenney, best known for her portrayal of ‘Deborah “Debbie” Gallagher‘ on the family comedy-drama television series Shameless,’ fired up her social media accounts on March 12 to upload a video that sees the final day on the set of the said series.
The 21-year-old actor, who has been playing the same role for almost 10 years, said goodbye to ‘Deborah “Debbie” Gallagher’ with this video; alongside the video, in which William H. Macy (as ‘Frank Gallagher’), Ethan Cutkosky (as ‘Carl Gallagher’), Shanola Hampton (as ‘Veronica “V” Fisher’), Steve Howey (as ‘Kevin “Kev” Ball’), Jeremy Allen White (as ‘Philip “Lip” Gallagher’) and Cameron Monaghan (as ‘Ian Gallagher’) are seen hugging, Kenney wrote:
“At 3 in the morning, we said goodbye to our dysfunctional, offbeat, beloved Gallagher family. Grateful doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel.”
The young actor, who also appeared in the fan-favorite family sitcom ‘Roseanne‘ continued her message by praising her co-stars:
“Every. damn .person on our set is so so special. Going to miss it more than I can put to words right now. Thank you.”

As known, back in November, it was declared that the fan-favorite series would be ending with its 11th season after a decade on the air. According to the statements of producers, the series was needed to be ended both because of the coronavirus pandemic and the lost main characters.
