Eric Bana recently joined SiriusXM’s The Jass Cagle Show and explained if he’ll make a cameo in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ as Hulk.
Bana told Jess Cagle that he doesn’t think he’ll be back as Hulk in the movie. He said he’s good friends with Hugh Jackman, but this doesn’t mean it’s possible:
“I can’t see that happening. I’m sorry, Jess. Hugh’s a very close friend of mine, [but I] still can’t see that happening.”

He Can Still Show Up, Though
Sometimes actors say they won’t be in a movie, but then they show up anyway. Andrew Garfield kept saying he wasn’t in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ until the movie came out, and there he was. Bana also said no, but he may be keeping this a secret.
Bana first became Hulk in Ang Lee’s movie. This was way before the start of what we now call the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He wasn’t excited about being Hulk but decided to join because he wanted to work with Lee. Bana shared that he joined without even seeing a script:
“At first, I was like, ‘No way. It’s not my kind of bag. I don’t think this is me,’ and then we thought more and more about it. I didn’t have a script when I said yes, so I was like, ‘Well, what’s this gonna be like?’ So I really was putting all my chips in the Ang Lee basket on that film most definitely, and all I knew was it’s gonna be very, very different.”
You can watch Eric Bana’s ‘Hulk’ on Netflix. As for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ it will be coming to theaters on July 26.
