Eva Longoria Hits Instagram With An Inspiring, Self-Love Post Ahead Of Valentine’s Day: “You Are More Important”

A day before Valentine’s Day, Eva Longoria went to her verified Instagram account with a highly motivating post focusing on self-love.

Best known for her role as ‘Gabrielle Solis‘ in the fan-favorite series ‘Desperate Housewives,’ Longoria posted a photo of herself in a red sweater with “Self Love” on it, and added a message alongside. She began as follows by implying that loving oneself is more important than the other kind of loves:

“Yeah, yeah, Valentine’s Day is soon but we need to talk about something real quick. *Self love!*❣️”

Stating that each person is resilient and so worthy of inward kindness, the Golden Globe-nominated actor continued her message as follows:

“The active cultivation of self-compassion and learning to value a messy, wonderful *you* is so much more important than you might think. I mean it!”

On contrary to many celebs, the ‘All-Star Weekend’ actor encouraged her fans & followers to do a favor for themselves instead of their loved ones in honor of Valentine’s day:

“Do something nice for you and only you today. Take it as a challenge 😗 ❤️”

Following the above-mentioned post, Longoria shared more pictures & videos from her daily life through Instagram Stories, and showed that Valentine’s Day is just a day as usual as the others for her.
