Hollywood actor Eva Mendes, who stepped back from acting in order to raise her two daughters herself, answered a mostly-asked question with her latest Instagram post.
On April 19, the actor, born Eva de la Caridad Méndez, became sociable and revealed her favorite red carpet look; she uploaded a photo of herself that shows her in peachy, sleeveless floor-length gown Versace dress. Alongside the photo, captured back on October 29, 2010 during the International Rome Film Festival at Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Italy, Mendes wrote:
“I’m often asked what my favorite red carpet dress is. This @versace is definitely up there.”
As fans might remember, at that time, the actor garnered high praises for her look with the piece belong to Versace Atelier Fall 2010 Fringe Gown and became one of the most-acclaimed actors at the premiere of ‘Little White Lies.’
After revealing her favorite red carpet dress, Mendes also posted her favorite parenting quote even though “she is not often asked.” According to the post, the actor’s favorite quote is:
“Spanking does for a child’s development what hitting a spouse does for a marriage.”
The 47-year-old touched on that punishment impacts the child’s mental and emotional development via the post, however, a great number of her followers disagreed with her.
An Instagram user, who stated that she raised “5 respectful loving kind kids,” replied the actor with the following words:
“Love you but completely disagree. The goal in raising kids is not to have to spank, but it’s correcting before they can reason behavior out with you. Completely different than hitting someone. That’s not correcting behavior.”
