Evangeline Lilly Heralds That ‘Crisis’ Centered On Opioids Addiction Is About To Hit To Theatres

Best known for her role as ‘Kate Austen‘ in the fan-favorite series ‘Lost,’ Evangeline Lilly took to her verified Instagram account the other day to let her fans and followers know about the upcoming film she is starring alongside Gary Oldman, Armie Hammer, and Greg Kinnear.

Lilly posted a photo of her character, ‘Claire Reimann,’ who is an opioids addict, and released a message alongside it to announce that the film, ‘Crisis,’ is about to be released. In the caption section, the Screen Actors Guild Award-winning actor first introduced the character to her fans and followers:

“This is Claire. She was prescribed opioids from a doctor for pain relief. She became painfully addicted. She is recovering through Narcotics Anonymous. She is about to find out that her son is somehow involved with running street drugs…the same drugs she herself is addicted to.”

Then Lilly heralded that ‘Crisis’ will be released in the United States on February 26, 2021 by Universal Pictures and Warner Brothers. What’s more, in the comments section, the actor went on her message by saying:

“To you, what is the difference between a prescription drug and a street drug? Are they good? Bad? Neither? Both?”

As fans might know, the dramatic thriller film, written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki, is focusing on three interweaving stories in the period of the opioid epidemic. It seems that the film which had its online premiere on January 27, 2021, will be seen by millions of people when considered there is a real ongoing opioid epidemic.
