Fan Casting Idea For Henry Cavill As An X-Men Character Goes Viral

Cavill is now imagined as Magneto in fan art that’s gone viral.

Fan artwork showing Henry Cavill as a character from the X-Men universe recently went viral.

Cavill now has fans wanting him to play Magneto. The artwork is inspired by ‘X-Men ’97,’ which gave some fresh looks for the characters, including Magneto. He now has long, white hair and wears a costume with a big ‘M’ on it. It seems Cavill’s hair as Geralt in ‘The Witcher’ is already a perfect match for the character’s new look.

An artist known as BossLogic shared the artwork in an Instagram post. Check it out below.

Does Cavill Have a Future in MCU?

Cavill played Superman in the DC universe, but he hasn’t yet appeared in any Marvel movies. That hasn’t stopped fans from fan-casting him for roles like Wolverine, Hercules, Sentry, Hyperion, and Captain Britain. Cavill himself also said he’s interested in playing Captain Britain:

“I have the internet, and I have seen the various rumors about Captain Britain. It would be loads of fun to do a cool, modernized version of that—like the way they modernized Captain America. There’s something fun about that, and I do love being British.”

There are also rumors that the actor might play a new version of Wolverine in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine. Sources tell fans to look out for Cavill wearing a long brown coat in the movie. These roles are not officially confirmed.

Cavill is currently busy with other projects, including a movie adaptation of the game Warhammer 40K and Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.’
