The hit Prime Video series ‘Reacher’ was renewed for Season 3 even before its second season aired earlier this year, allowing production on the new installment to begin quickly. Nearly a year has passed since Season 2 premiered. On Saturday night, the first footage of ‘Reacher’ Season 3 was revealed in a trailer, announcing the premiere date: February 20, 2025, on Prime Video.
The trailer not only informed fans of the release date but also teased the first on-screen appearance of a fan-favorite villain from the Jack Reacher books.
Season 3 of ‘Reacher’ is based on Lee Child’s Persuader, the seventh book in the Jack Reacher novel series, published in 2003. The story follows the nameless drifter as he infiltrates a smuggling ring in the Northeastern United States, encountering one of the most intense physical challenges of his life. In the book, a bully named Paulie serves as a major adversary for ‘Reacher’ throughout the story. True to the books, the Prime Video series continues to depict ‘Reacher’ as a giant of a man, with Alan Ritchson reprising his lead role.
‘Reacher’ returns for its third season on February 20, 2025. The first two seasons of the series are already available for streaming on Prime Video. Amazon has also renewed the show for a fourth season.
