‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 is currently filming, but none of the actors have seen the script for the last episode yet. So, Finn Wolfhard recently revealed the finale in his mind to Access Online:
“Truly, I would love a ‘Lord of the Rings’ style happy ending. They’re waiting to give us the last episode. We’ve read up to the second-to-last episode, so we’re all on the edge of our seats to find out what the ending is.”
Wolfhard also gave a shoutout to his co-stars Millie Bobby Brown and Joseph Quinn for their works other than the Netflix series. Brown’s new film, ‘Damsel,’ came out a few weeks ago, and Quinn joined the ‘Gladiator 2’ cast.
The Finale Will Be A Surprise For Everyone
Millie Bobby Brown recetly talked to Collider about why the cast hasn’t seen the final script yet. She knows how things end for Eleven, but not for the others:
“So I think, yeah, they’re holding it back until we’re all together, and we can all cry and be sad together.”
The actress also shared how it felt to say goodbye to the show:
“It’s really conflicting because it’s something that you love, and it’s something that you’re used to, and it’s like a comfort thing. But then taking your comfort blanket away and having to really step into your own, it’s exciting, but it’s also really scary. So, yeah, I think that it’s really conflicting.”
The Original Team Will Return
The upcoming ‘Stranger Things’ season will have eight episodes. The first one will be titled ‘Chapter One: The Crawl.’ There are no details on the plot, but all the main actors are coming back for the new story.
The cast includes Wolfhard, Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour. A recent set photo shows Sadie Sink’s Max Mayfield also back in Hawkins.
What Will Happen To Max?
Max was severely hurt and hospitalized because of Vecna in the last season. That’s why Sink believes she might leave town for a new start in the last episode. The actress also thinks Max and Lucas could end up together:
“I mean, they’re really cute, aren’t they? And the little, like, note exchange, that was really sweet. I think we gotta see something. There’s definitely room to grow there.”
There’s no release date for Season 5 yet.
