Florence Pugh Invites Fans For A ‘Secret’ Trip In ‘Thunderbolts’ Set

Fans got to see a bit of what’s happening behind the scenes for the first time.

Florence Pugh recently posted a video from the Thunderbolts’ set and gave fans a tiny sneak peek into what’s going on behind the scenes.

She shared this video on Instagram and joked about keeping it a secret from the big bosses at Marvel Studios:

“I know that I’ve kind of dropped off for a little bit, but that’s partly because I was whisked off to Atlanta to shoot a movie that I’m not really allowed to talk much about. I can show you some things sneakily, as long as you don’t tell anyone.”

Pugh walks around the movie set in the video and shows off different parts of it. She even talks to director Jake Schreier and asks him what they’re allowed to say about what they’re doing:

“This is Jake, our director. What are we allowed to say we’re doing?”

The director’s response suggests they’re being pretty sneaky about sharing these details:

“I don’t think you’re even allowed to be doing this, most likely.”

Pugh still manages to give fans a quick look at a scene from the movie on a computer screen.

Pugh Says Returning as Yelena Feels Surreal

Pugh has been excited to return to her role as Yelena Belova. She previously told ET that now that they’re finally filming, she’s thrilled to be back:

“When we shot ‘Black Widow,’ we thought we were going to shoot the next movie relatively sooner than we did, and it’s just been this thing that’s been looming, that we’ve been waiting to shoot at some point in the future, and now it’s finally happening, so it feels surreal, but it’s coming back. Yelena’s coming back.”

The film’s cast includes Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and David Harbour as Red Guardian. Last year, Harbour compared the team’s reunion to a scene from a fantasy game where different characters meet in a tavern:

“I just made a joke about it’s like Dungeons and Dragons, where you meet in a tavern, and it’s like there’s a dwarf drinking a beer, and then there’s like an elvish figure over there, we all come together, and then there’s this ghost…”

‘Thunderbolts’ is set to come out on May 2, 2025.
