George Lazenby thinks Aaron Taylor-Johnson of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has all the right qualities for the role.
Aaron may get his chance to be the next spy after Daniel Craig. As per TMZ, Lazenby recently claimed Aaron could handle all the stunts and win everyone’s hearts just like a true Bond.
Lazenby played James Bond in 1969. But Aaron hasn’t got the part just yet. Lazenby shared that he had to go through many tests and auditions before he got the role back in his days. So he thinks it’s pretty normal that there isn’t any official news about Aaron’s casting.
Lazenby Has an Advice For Aaron
Lazenby told TMZ that James Bond actors come from all over the world, and it doesn’t matter where Aaron is from as long as he does a good job. The actor also gave Aaron some friendly advice: stay true to yourself and make the role your own. He said he tells this from his own experiences taking over the role from Sean Connery.
Rumors Have Been Around For a While
There’s been a lot of talk about who will be the next Bond after Daniel Craig said goodbye to the role in 2021. Producers have been looking for someone who can play Bond in several movies. They believe it’s a big job that could change an actor’s career.
Now, it seems Aaron Taylor-Johnson might just be the one to step into the role. He was reportedly offered the part and left Idris Elba, Cillian Murphy, and Henry Cavill behind.
