Former ‘Gossip Girl’ Star Jessica Szohr Welcomes Her First Child With Brad Richardson

Well-known TV personality, Jessica Szohr, best known for her portrayal of ‘Vanessa Abrams,’ in ‘Gossip Girl’ is a mother now!

Szohr delivered the exciting news herself through her verified Instagram account two days after she had given birth to her baby. Releasing a black and white photo of her baby’s little hands, the 35-year-old actor announced that she welcomed her first child, a daughter with her partner, Brad Richardson, on January 11.

The star, who recently appeared on the second season for ‘The Orville‘ revealed that their daughter’s name is Bowie Ella Richardson, and continued her message as follows:

Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new directions to our journey on 1-11-21.”

Stating that having a baby with her boyfriend, who is a professional ice hockey centre, has been one of the most beautiful experiences of her life, the actor tried to describe her feelings with the following words:

“To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn’t know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special :)”

Almost a week before giving birth to her child, Szohr, who is highly honest with her pregnancy experience, took to Instagram and expressed that she was highly anxious about welcoming her first baby. She frankly admitted that she was nervous about the challenges women face after pregnancy. At that time, she wrote:

“I’ll admit… I’m nervous. I’m nervous it will be painful. I’m nervous I won’t do it right. The one thing I do know is that I am excited to share my experiences of motherhood with all of you because we all know it takes a village.”
