Actor and comedian Fortune Feimster, gaining further recognition for starring in ‘The Mindy Project,’ declared that she is gearing up to get back to the stage for her upcoming stand-up shows.
As the rest of the other comedians all around the world had, Feimster also had to stop her stand-up shows because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Following more than a year, finally, ‘The L Word‘ star took to her verified social media accounts to deliver a piece of great news regarding upcoming shows.
On April 8, Femister updated her Instagram feed with an image bearing the rescheduled dates for her new tour, and added a caption that reads:
“Finally getting back on the standup train! Currently working on the new dates for my rescheduled tour. Will keep you posted! In the meantime, see you soon, Cali!”
According to the announcement, Feimster will hit the stages on April 23 and on May 5, for the time being.
Just before unveiling the new dates, the comedian released another Instagram post and thanked her fans and followers for continuing to discover her special titled ‘Sweet & Sour’ even a year later. Stating that it means so much that Netflix gave her a chance to tell her story, Feimster gave a clue regarding the future shows by saying:
“There was a long time when that kind of content was shunned and so were the performers who talked about it so I don’t take this for granted. Can’t wait to get back out there.”
