The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actor who plays ‘Dr. Andrew DeLuca‘ updated his Instagram feed with a piece of good news; Giacomo Gianniotti announced that filming for the latest episode of the fan-favorite series came to an end.
On March 2, the Italian actor who served as a director for the latest episode, posted a photo of himself on the set wearing a coronavirus mask and a shield in addition to the custom multiple pockets director jacket, and wrote the following message as a caption to deliver the exciting news:
“Well that’s a wrap! 🎬. 10 days of beautiful, fast-paced, red-eyed glory. Wouldn’t change it for the world.”
Seemingly so excited for becoming the director for the legendary series at the age of 31, Gianniotti then thanked the entire team of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ especially the director of photography Steve Fracol and writer Julie Wong for their great work. He continued:
“And really most of all, our crew. Our incredible crew of hardworking men and women who every day from sun up to sundown, busted their ass to make this beautiful art. Thank you thank you thank you. Grateful is a massive understatement.”
In his message, the actor who first joined the cast for the last two episodes of the 11th season, also declared that it is time to back to being ‘Dr. Andrew DeLuca‘ after this unique directing experience. He concluded his words with another exciting news:
“We are back March 11th DO NOT MISS THE CROSSOVER!”
As fans might remember, the actor announced back in February that he would direct the abovementioned episode of the series, titled ‘Sorry Doesn’t Always Make It Right‘ through his verified Instagram account.
