Gina Carano Says Even Pedro Pascal Calls Her His ‘Protector’ Due To A Secret Reason

Carano opens up about what was going on behind the scenes of ‘The Mandalorian.’

Gina Carano recently told Tucker Carlson on YouTube that, unlike what some believed, her co-stars held no negative feelings towards her before she was let go from ‘The Mandalorian.’ She explained:

“Everybody I physically worked with, I never had a problem with. Pedro and I reconnected after Carl Weathers passed away. There’s all these lies, and all these weird stories that people make up in their heads.”

The actress recalled:

“One thing I can say is I adore Pedro, and he said one thing to me. He said, ‘You and Carl were protectors.’ And that means so much to me that he remembers me and our time together as me being a protector, and it’s important that people don’t know what the real story is. Like, why do you think Pedro is calling me a protector?”

She continued:

“To his fans, I want [them to know] there’s a reason, and there’s stories you don’t know that happened. And I was there, and I protect people.”

The Actress Says She Worked Hard On Set

Carano then mentioned a time on set when she saw another actor struggling after an exhausting shooting. She chose to stay extra hours and come in early the next day to film her scenes so the tired actor could rest.

The actress noted:

“I worked longer hours than maybe probably any actor [on ‘The Mandalorian’], because my face was showing, and I did all my own stunts. So, if you review the work records, you’ll find that, among the actors, I was on the set the most, and at the top of that list.”

Lucasfilm and Disney cut ties with Gina Carano after her political and social views made the headlines a few months ago.

She’s Looking For Compensation

Carano sued the two companies over her firing and claimed their decision was violating her freedom of speech. The actress also recently shared that she had no regrets for her controversial comments:

“When people ask me if I would’ve done anything differently, I would’ve screamed. I would’ve screamed so much louder. Everything I was saying, from lockdowns to masks to vaccines — question everything. Do not allow these people to force this on you. Pay attention. I would’ve screamed it. So, I’m not sorry. I’m not sorry for what I said, for what I posted, for what I was standing for, for what I was screaming for or trying to scream for. I’m not sorry.”

The lawsuit between Carano and Disney/Lucasfilm is still ongoing. Elon Musk is financially supporting her during this legal fight.
