‘Glee’ Alum Matthew Morrison Releases A Praise To Elton John Prior To EJAF Oscars: “I’m Always Elated When I Hang Out With Him”

Well-known actor, dancer, and singer-songwriter Matthew Morrison, best known for his starring in the fan-favorite musical comedy ‘Glee,’ expressed his admiration for living legend Elton John with his latest social media post.

On April 23, Morrison, who recently released a couple of photos that show him with her expectant mother wifey Renee Puente and their little son while enjoying a family trip, took to his verified Instagram account and praised the founder of Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The Tony Award-nominated star first shared a TBT photo of himself with John in black-ties, then wrote an accompanying message announcing his satisfaction with being invited to the 29th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Pre-Party and Viewing. He stated:

I’m always elated when I hang out with Elton John. I’ve been fortunate enough to call him a friend for over a decade, to sing with him, and to be invited to his incredible parties! This Sunday is the first-ever #EJAFOscars Virtual Celebration and I couldn’t be more excited!”

As fans might remember, Morrison and John released two duet – ‘Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters‘ and ‘Rocket Man‘ – back in May 2011 for the actor’s first studio album ‘Matthew Morrison.’ After referring to this musical collaboration, the Broadway star invited his fans and followers to the 60-minute party where Grammy Award-nominated star Dua Lipa will perform a duet with John.

According to the latest updates, the show will be hosted by ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ star Neil Patrick Harris and there will be a lot of surprise names to perform.
