Powell recently revealed on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast that he ‘has a date’ for when the production of ‘Top Gun 3’ will start. He didn’t share the exact date, but it means filming could begin soon. Powell didn’t give any more details about the movie, though:

“Absolutely not.”
