Halle Berry Recommends Oge Egbuonu’s Documentary ‘(In)Visible Portraits’

The actress with Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in ‘Monster’s Ball,’ Halle Berry made a movie recommendation through Instagram for her followers.

Introducing Dorothy Dandridge’ star, Berry shared the trailer of ‘(In)visible Portraits’ that is the feature documentary from Oge Egbuonu and advised her followers to watch the movie.

Regarding the documentary, which brings the invisible otherizing of Black women in America to light, ‘Gothika’ star wrote by referring to ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement going on in the U.S.:

“The timing of this beautiful, important film by my dear friend @ogetheyogi could not be more essential. Watch it now.”

Then, the 53-year-old actress shared her reviews about the movie:

“(In)Visible Portraits is a beautifully crafted documentary capturing the strength, beauty, resilience, and love embodied in black women. It is a thought-provoking visual love letter that will inspire many and impact the culture in a profound way. ♥️ #Juneteenth”

Berry’s followers also left the following comments:

“I love that. Rarely (other than from family) did I hear growing up that ‘Black women are divine.’ So thank you 🙏” said, Brigette.

This documentary is fantastic for portraying this theme and is more important because it was made by a woman, my congratulations to Mrs. @ogetheyogi 🌹” commented, Suzana D’Jesus Fragoso.
