A recent trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ showed Harrison Ford fully transformed into the Red Hulk. ET asked the actor what he thought of fans finding this form sexy at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, and he said:
“Well, you’re not wrong. I just gotta lay off the gym, though, I think. [Laughs]”
Ford joined a cast featuring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, and Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph.
Julius Onah sat on the director’s chair for the movie set for release on February 14, 2025.
The Actor’s MCU Part
Harrison Ford took over the Thunderbolt role from the late William Hurt, who played in various Marvel films from ‘The Incredible Hulk’ to ‘Captain America: Civil War’ until his death in 2022.
Mackie shared his experiences working with Ford by telling ET:
“It’s been a lot of fun. I thought Harrison would be the old curmudgeon, angry dude, but he’s not at all. He makes fun of people; he allows people to make fun of him. Whenever he’s ready to roll, he’s like, ‘Let’s shoot this piece of sh*t!’ And everybody’s like, yay, Harrison’s ready to shoot!”
The actor will also reprise his Marvel role in the upcoming ‘Thunderbolts*.’ The film will come out in May 2025.
