English actor James Phelps, best known for portraying ‘Fred Weasley’ in the fan-favorite ‘Harry Potter‘ film series, is getting a new hobby during the coronavirus lockdown.
The actor, who is gearing up to appear as ‘Charles‘ in the upcoming psychological horror film ‘Last Night in Soho,’ took to Instagram on March 6 to show that he is really good at his new hobby; painting. Phelps posted a photo that sees him doing a painting by following one of the most recognized painters all around the world, Bob Ross through his laptop.
Alongside the photo, the 35-year-old ‘Harry Potter’ star wrote the following message as a caption:
“First painting I’ve done in about 20 years 👴. Followed a Bob Ross video on YouTube and had a great time. I’d highly recommend it to anyone, perfect way to relax and have ‘Happy little accidents.'”
According to the photo, it is clear that the actor has painting skills, so much so that, he did a great landscape painting. Referred to his “art piece” Phelps also wrote in his message:
“Also learned more about technique than I ever did in art class at school. Give it a try.”
What’s more, as soon as the actor had released the post, his ‘Harry Potter’ co-star Evanna Lynch jumped into the comments section to say he did a great job. The actor portraying ‘Luna Lovegood‘ in the series, commented:
“Wow this is beautiful!! What a great new hobby!👏”
