‘Harry Potter’ Star Jason Isaacs Shows What 2021’s Christmas Is Like, By A Little Comparison

English actor Jason Isaacs, best known for his portrayal as ‘Lucius Malfoy‘ in the ‘Harry Potter’ film series, posted a photo collage to show how the coronavirus impacted the celebration culture.

On the first day of 2021, the actor took to Instagram and shared the said photo collage which includes a photo from 2021’s Christmas day he spent all alone because of the coronavirus, and another photo from 2020’s New Year’s Eve he spent with lots of friends around a table.

Along with the photo collage he had made to emphasize the difference between years, he wrote the followings as a caption:

“2020 has been heartbreaking for many, challenging for others. Hate, selfishness and fear were everywhere. But love, kindness and hope eclipsed them. 2021 won’t be easy: I wish all of us a daily hit of gratitude for life, the people we love and opportunities to make things better.”

‘A Single Shot’ actor, admitting that the new year will be a little bit hard due to the current situation, encouraged people to keep hopes alive for the future.

The 57-year-old actor also criticized the authorities by implying that they are making decisions without considering scientific truths, saying:

“If things continue to get worse – as they definitely will for a while – then the very least we must demand is honesty from the people making decisions about our lives and humility from ourselves in the face of science.”

Golden Globe-nominated actor concluded her words by slamming Prince of Wales:

“Wear. A. Mask. None of us are exceptional. Except Prince. He was the s**t.”

Isaacs’ sarcastic post received positive feedback both from his followers and industry friends, including Ariel Kanter and Sophia Bush.

Check it out.
