“2020 has been heartbreaking for many, challenging for others. Hate, selfishness and fear were everywhere. But love, kindness and hope eclipsed them. 2021 won’t be easy: I wish all of us a daily hit of gratitude for life, the people we love and opportunities to make things better.”
‘A Single Shot’ actor, admitting that the new year will be a little bit hard due to the current situation, encouraged people to keep hopes alive for the future.
The 57-year-old actor also criticized the authorities by implying that they are making decisions without considering scientific truths, saying:
“If things continue to get worse – as they definitely will for a while – then the very least we must demand is honesty from the people making decisions about our lives and humility from ourselves in the face of science.”
Golden Globe-nominated actor concluded her words by slamming Prince of Wales:
“Wear. A. Mask. None of us are exceptional. Except Prince. He was the s**t.”
