Hayden Christensen Is Sure Darth Vader Could Easily Beat Thanos

Hayden Christensen believes Thanos has no chance if he ends up in a fight with Darth Vader.

In a recent chat with GQ, Hayden Christensen explained why he thinks Darth Vader could beat Thanos.

Having worn Darth Vader’s suit in several ‘Star Wars’ projects, Christensen confidently stated that Vader would win in a battle against the MCU’s top villain:

“Obviously Vader, right? Definitely Vader. Vader beats everybody, always.”

What Does Hayden Think About His ‘Star Wars’ Future?

Earlier this month, Christensen was secretive about his ‘Star Wars’ future. He said:

“Look, as to whether or not we see Anakin again, I don’t know. But as evidenced by that last shot of the series, he’s with her in spirit, and they continue to have this connection.”

Christensen later returned to ‘Star Wars’ in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ and ‘Ahsoka.’ Fans were happy to see him as Anakin/Darth Vader again. In an interview with EW’s Dagobah Dispatch podcast, he talked about whether he would be interested in playing Darth Vader again to fill in the years between the ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ series and ‘A New Hope’:

“I would love to get to do more, and I’d love to get to continue with ‘Star Wars’ and we’ll see. I don’t know what the future holds, and if such an opportunity presents itself, I’ll be there with a big smile on my face. And if it doesn’t, I feel really grateful for getting to come back and getting to do the work that I did in both ‘Obi-Wan’ and ‘Ahsoka’.”

The Actor’s Past With ‘Star Wars’

Christensen first appeared as Anakin Skywalker in the 2002 movie ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.’ He reprised the role in ‘Revenge of the Sith,’ where he wore a Darth Vader suit made specifically for him, instead of using the one made for David Prowse in the original trilogy.

At first, ‘Star Wars’ fans didn’t like Christensen’s portrayal of Anakin, as they thought he was melodramatic and whiny. However, they now appreciate his performance. The initial dislike may have been due to the script, not his acting. In ‘Revenge of the Sith,’ especially during Anakin and Obi-Wan’s final scene, Christensen’s performance is heartbreaking and well-received.
