English actor Henry Cavill took to his Instagram account the other day both to confirm that he had a hamstring injury on the set of the series, ‘The Witcher‘ and to share an update regarding his medical condition.
Cavill released a photo of himself, wearing a colorful coronavirus mask and walking through a wooded area, and added a caption to let fans know that he is recovering from the injury. Stating he is in lockdown in the United Kingdom, the ‘Superman’ actor wrote:
“I’m using my once a day outdoor exercise to go for my first jog since my hamstring injury! (More on that another time).”
After confirming the accident on the set of the series season 2, added that he needs time for the full recovery; in his own words:
“It wasn’t fast, and it certainly was far, but it has been a major step in my recovery, and my first step to getting back into the groove after a Christmas that may have involved more than a few cups of mulled wine, and an exceptionally fat Turkey.”
As fans might remember, back in December, it was reported by multiple news sources that the actor, who portrays ‘Geralt of Rivia‘ in the Netflix series, had suffered a mild leg injury during the filming, in the UK. According to news, Cavill tweaked his leg, and the set stopped for a while because it could not take place around his absence.
Fortunately, Cavill will return to the set as soon as the healing process completes, as the producers say.
