Hollywood Actor Laura Dern Makes Her Dream Of 15 Years True By Launching ‘Bobbie’: “I’m Glad It’s Here”

Five-time Golden Globe-winning actor Laura Dern announced through her verified Instagram account that she has launched a new brand line after working on it for almost 15 years.

Dern, who received an Academy Award for her role in ‘Marriage Story,’ posted a TBT photo of herself hugging her daughter, and added an introduction video for a new brand, Bobbie which improves organic infant formula. Alongside the photo and the video, Dern wrote how she had decided to start the company for babies & parents:

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since my little girl was born. Though I breastfed her initially, I ultimately needed supplemental support with formula. I searched desperately for an organic, healthy formula for her like the ones I had seen sold in Europe but was never satisfied with the options available in the US.”

Stating she realized that in the past 16 years things have hardly changed, Dern expressed that she is now really excited to launch Bobbie, “an Organic, European Style Formula company, which is founded and led entirely by moms.” She continued by saying that having that kind of company was her dream of 15 years:

“While I wish this company existed 15 years ago, I’m glad it’s here for new parents or parents-to-be who find themselves turning to formula to feed their babies, too.”

At the end of the caption, the ‘Little Women’ star concluded her words as follows:

“@bobbie ‘s emphasis on supporting each other’s feeding choices and focusing on the similarities, instead of the differences, in how we feed our babies is a breath of fresh air. Congratulations to my friends for starting this incredible company!”

Following the post, while well-known comedian and actor Mandy Kaling, who welcomed her baby no.2 in 2020, celebrating the news, a great number of fans of Dern thanked her to support all feeding choices.
