Hugh Jackman And Halle Berry Celebrate The 20th Anniversary Of X-Men Movie

The first film in the X-Men franchise released 20 years ago on July 14.

Actor Hugh Jackman, representing ‘James Logan Howlett (Wolverine)‘ and actress Halle Berry, representing ‘Ororo Munroe (Storm)’ celebrated 20th anniversary of the legendary superhero film series.

Jackman and Berry uploaded photos & videos from the movie and wrote highly hilarious captions. Jackman added the following note:

“So here’s the thing. When the studio asked if I could be in shape to play #wolverine in 3 weeks… I might over-promised. But wouldn’t you have too? Happy Anniversary X-Men universe. #xmen

Following the post, IMDB official Instagram account left the following comment:

“20 years and counting 👊”

At the same time, Berry took to her personal Instagram page and wrote:

Happy 20th Anniversary to #XMen!! Stepping into #Storm’s grace, confidence and full-on badassery was truly one of the highlights of my career.”

She also revealed a secret about the movie:

“In honor of the occasion, swipe right for one of my favorite #BTS moments from way later down the line -In this cut scene, Storm and Wolverine actually share a kiss! Truthfully I was pretty damn excited storm finally got herself a little sum sum! #XMen20thAnniversary”

So far, twelve films have released within the X-Men film series, and it becomes the eighth highest-grossing film series with more than $6 billion in revenue.
